1. All foreigners and Overseas Chinese, aged 16 and above, in good health, interested in Chinese language and culture, can apply for admission. Applicants must observe the laws and decrees of the Chinese government, abide by the rules and regulations of the university and respect Chinese customs.

2. Applicants should mail or fax the filled-out Application for Admission to the Foreign Affairs Office of WYU in order to help go through the proceedings concerned.

3.Those who are accepted will receive an Admission Letter and a JW202 form, with which the applicants can apply for an student visa at the Chinese Embassy or a consulate in their home country.

4. Prospective students are expected to register on the specified day of registration and bring the Admission Letter, a passport and ten passport photos.

5. Within 30 days upon entry into China, in applying for Residence Permit , submit the following to the Public Security Bureau: health certificates issued by the designated local hospital, JW202 form, School Letter, passport and recently-taken full-faced photos .
