Welcome to the website of School of International Education! School of International Education (SIE) was established in 2004, a new and energetic school which is responsible for the recruitment, management and teaching to international students. Besides long-term and short-term general Chinese language programmes, SIE also offers Chinese courses as special purposes, such as IT Chinese, Science and Business Chinese, Cantonese, etc. For those who are interested in studying degrees, we are responsible to locate them in different schools of SCUT. At moment, we have about 65% of our international students who are studying for B.A./BS.c, M.A./MS.c, Ph.D degrees at SCUT.
 
With the provision of well-designed curriculum and modern language learning facilities, our highly qualified and internationally experienced teachers have been providing top quality instruction to students of various needs. Language courses allow you to observe, discuss, and participate in Chinese culture and to reinforce language skills and themes developed in class. Whether you simply want to learn Chinese or have set your sights on gaining a university degree in China, our programs will prove a vital investment in your future.
