University Introduction

Founded in 1997, Hunan International Economics University (HIEU) is one of the largest private universities in People's Republic of China, and has been ranked as one of the top three institutions among over 300 private universities in China by the China University Alumni Association for the past eight years. It is accredited as a four-year comprehensive university with the approval of the State Ministry of Education. HIEU is situated in Changsha City, a bustling city of seven million people and the capital of Hunan Province.

HIEU is an institution that strives to help students achieve their personal goals of becoming promising innovators and high achievers, and students at HIEU seamlessly make the transition to their professional careers under the tutelage of their lecturers. HIEU has a teaching staff of 1,700, among whom one third of them have got Ph.D. or Master’s degrees.
