Chinese Traditional Culture

On July 16, 2011, Confucius Institute at Bulacan State University held the lecture on Chinese traditional culture in 21 Century Park Hotel. Professor Duan Qingbo, from Historical and Archaeological academy of Northwest University, gave the lecture on the Great Wall and Terra-Cotta Warriors; Professor Zeng Fuhai, from Chinese Medicine Academy of Shaan Xi Province, made a speech about how to keep healthy with Chinese medicine.

Professor Duan Qingbo aims to the research on the system of Chinese ancient tombs and archaeology about Qing dynasty, Han dynasty. He used lots of first-hand materials to show the the original historical and cultural face about Qin dynasty to the audiences. Professor Zeng Fuhai one of experts of the first generation after China was established, who provided free medical service to many Chinese Filipinos in Manila, teachers and students from Bulacan State University with his rich clinical experience. The lectures were greatly warmed in the Philippines, they hope Professor Zeng could come to Philippines again for promoting Chinese medicine culture, the students could to to China for studying Chinese medicine.

In the afternoon of July 20, the two professors also gave lectures to professors, teachers and Chinese volunteers who participated seminar on Chinese teaching and promotion in the Philippines 2011.

The activity got the high attention and support from Cultural office of Chinese embassy, also from Philippines Chinese Education Research Center. There are more than 200 people attending the activity above.
