Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM) at LSBU and China Culture Connect jointly organized Chinese Visual Festival 2011--Lost in Transformation on 7th July.

The documentary "China", produced by the film master Michelangelo Antonioni caused political storm in 1972, is dim for people. Today, when we follow the tracks in China that the film master had visited 30 years ago, we cannot restrain the temptation to ask a series of questions.

The Chinese documentary film “Mask Changing-A Letter to Anotinoni”

The Chinese documentary film, “Mask Changing-A Letter to Antonioni”, tells us a different China from the film “China”. About 30 audiences came to see the film. They were interested in the 30 years’ changing in China. Some said that this film enriched the knowledge of China for them. They hope that they can visit China someday to experience China by themselves.

After the film screening, 3 professional actors from CITCM performed Chinese martial arts and traditional Chinese dance, which brought lots of warm applause. Audience showed strong interests in Chinese culture and language, and they consulted a lot about the entrance requirements and courses.（Sui Fangyu）
