First Chinese Government Scholarship Student from Africa Received by SAU

the College of International Education, SAU received its first Chinese Scholarship student from Uganda on September 5^th, 2012. A welcoming ceremony was held in the newly built International Students’ Apartment to witness this special moment.

Michael Bulwaka, the Secretary of Uganda Embassy China, addressed the ceremony and hoped that international students shall not only learn Chinese language, but also come to understand the importance of China. At the same time, they can introduce some African culture to the Chinese people to build the bridge of friendship between the two countries.

Mr. Richard Chen, Dean of the College of International Education met with the guests, delivered a sincere welcome on behalf of SAU.
