Bachelors' Program
1.Business Administration（4 academic years）
The program of Business Administration aims at nurturing advanced talents with hardworking, adaptable, creative, competitive and communicative abilities as well as profound knowledge of management, economics, law, corporate strategy planning, corporate imagine design, manufacturing operation, logistics planning and supply chain management, who will be able to engage in planning and management in enterprises, state-owned organizations and governments, and will be able to conduct teaching as well as research activities and meet the development of socialist market economy.
2. Industrial Engineering（4 academic years）
This project is undertaken by School of Mechatronics Engineering of WUT. And the school has majors of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Monitoring Technology and Equipment, Process Equipment and Control Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Institute of Tribology, Digital Manufacture Center and R&D Center of Building Materials. The teachers are mainly professors who graduate from distinguished universities in Europe and USA, and they are all experienced in teaching and supervising international students.
Direction of Cultivation：Advanced engineering and technical personnel who can make quantitative analysis and optimization designing in terms of systems on problems of actual engineering and management in technical management, production planning, operations management and many other aspects.
3. Mining Engineering（4 academic years）
This project is undertaken by School of Resource and Environment of WUT. It has majors of Mining Engineering Testing Technology, Blasting Engineering, Surface Mining, Underground Mining and Engineering Design Digital Training.
Directions of Cultivation：Advanced special personnel who can have mathematic knowledge, natural science knowledge and basic knowledge of management correlation to mining engineering, predominating the basic knowledge of mining subject and basic theory of mining engineering, accepting basic training of experiment technology, engineering practice, computer application, engineering design, and science research method in mining engineering and safety engineering. production planning, operations management and many other aspects.
4. Navigation Technology（4 academic years）
The program is undertaken by School of Navigation of WUT. The School of Navigation has engaged in education and training of navigation for nearly 60 years, and has cultivated and trained a large number of talents in marine pilots and maritime management for shipping industry. Most lecturers have Certificate of Competency (COC) for captains of ocean-going vessels, chief mates and other posts. The school has majors of Navigation Technology and Maritime Management, also with the institutes like Navigation Simulation and Experimental Center, Maritime Traffic Safety Management and Environmental Research Center, and Sailors Training Center. Students not only need to finish courses in the university, but also need to take part in a 5-weeks internship of understanding the navigation of sea-going ships and half a year’s graduation practice on sea.
Research Orientation: Advanced managerial personnel of Navigation Technology who have acquired basic training of engineers, meet the requirements from international covenant of STCW78/95 which was established by International Maritime Organization（IMO）and be with contemporary voyage driving theory and practical skills.
5.Marine Engine Engineering（4 academic years）
This project is undertaken by School of Energy and Power Engineering of WUT. The school has majors of Power Engineering, Marine Machinery Operation Engineering, Marine Engine Engineering, and Thermal Power Engineering, also has System Simulation and Control and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Research Center. It has founded four research facilities, the key laboratory on Power Machinery Engineering directed by the Ministry of Transport, the Energy Efficiency Training Center under direction of the Ministry of Transport, China Classification Society (CCS) measurement center of engine emission and China Classification Society (CCS) measurement center of lubricating oil.
Research Orientation: Advanced technical personnel having knowledge of principle of mechanics and marine engine system, etc., fitting in with training, issuing certificates of international seamen and STCW78/95, possessing job qualifications for second assistant engineers of ships of A class, and being able to embark on works like controlling and maintaining turbines, editorial supervision of ships and special inspection of work.
6. Mechanical Engineering and Automation（4 academic years）
This project is undertaken by School of Mechatronics Engineering of WUT. And the school has majors of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Monitoring Technology and Equipment, Process Equipment and Control Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Institute of Tribology, Digital Manufacture Center and R&D Center of Building Materials. The teachers are mainly professors who graduate from distinguished universities in Europe and USA, and they are all experienced in teaching and supervising international students.
Direction of Cultivation：Advanced engineering and technical personnel having basic knowledge and applied ability in machinery design and manufacture, and being able to work in the first line as to design and manufacture machinary, develop science, apply research, manage operations and other aspects in the fields of mechanical manufacturing.
7. International Economics and Trade（4 academic years）
This project is undertaken by Shool of Economics of WUT. It has majors of Economics, Finance, International Economics and Trade as well as Electronic Commerce. It also has Research Bases like Institute of Science, Technology and Economics, Securities Research Institute, Advanced E-Commerce Institute, Institute of Finance Engineering, Institute of Environmental & Resource Economics and Institute of Transportation Economics. Most teachers have academic backgrounds in Europe and USA. It also regularly invites experts and scholars from famous foreign universities as well as CEOs from distinguished enterprises at home and abroad to give lectures. What’s more, students have been provided opportunities to have internship in notable companies and enterprises, to practice and join international conference. And all graduates of these majors will have bright futures for jobs.
Directions of Cultivation：Advanced special personnel who can systematically grasp basic theories of Modern Economics and International Economics, being familiar with conventions and regulations of international trade and business, having basic skills in international trade and international trade transportation as well as fluent foreign language which offers possibilities for them to do the management and research work in the departments concerning foreign economics and trade, overseas-funded enterprises, international logistics enterprises and governmental agencies.
8. International Business（4 academic years）
This project is undertaken by Shool of Economics of WUT. It has majors of Economics, Finance, International Economics and Trade as well as Electronic Commerce. It also has Research Bases like Institute of Science, Technology and Economics, Securities Research Institute, Advanced E-Commerce Institute, Institute of Finance Engineering, Institute of Environmental & Resource Economics and Institute of Transportation Economics. Most teachers have academic backgrounds in Europe and USA. It also regularly invites experts and scholars from famous foreign universities as well as CEOs from distinguished enterprises at home and abroad to give lectures. Masters' Degree Program
1. MBA（2-3 academic years）
Wuhan University of Technology has established MBA International Education Center, and is the appointed teaching unit of MBA program by China Scholarship Council. All the teachers possess oversea academic backgrounds in Europe and USA. Meanwhile, some famous professors from top universities and CEOs from acknowledged companies all over the world will be invited to give lectures timely. Students will have opportunities to intern at these well-known companies and attend international conference.
Research Orientation: Human Resources Development and Management, Organization and Enterprise Culture, Marketing Management, Strategy for Enterprise Development, Enterprise Information System, Corporation Finance.
2. Material Science and Engineering（2-3 academic years）
The specialty of Material Science and Engineering is the state key discipline. This program is targeted to cultivate advanced talents to undertake research, teaching and engineering technology and management of Material Science and Engineering and also innovative in all those fields with a profound theoretical knowledge, fundamental skills in experimentation and systematical comprehension of the field of Material Science and Engineering. The Teaching team is mainly composed of teachers who possess an experience of studying at top Euramerican universities and have rich experience in how to teach and instruct international students. Some courses are taught by scholars of well-known Euramerican universities.
Research Orientation: Ecological building materials and its key technology, High-performance metals and engineering, Advanced polymer materials and engineering, New composite materials and engineering, Biomedical Materials and Engineering, New composite material technology, Material molding new technology, Photoelectron and information material, New energy materials and technology.
3. Civil Engineering（2-3 academic years）
The target of this program aims to teach students to master the fundamental theories and specialized skills of civil engineering disciplines as well as cultivating their research and application abilities under the instruction of teachers. The Teaching team is mainly composed of teachers who hold an experience of studying at top Euramerican universities. They are experienced in how to teach and instruct international students. Some courses are taught by scholars of well-known Euramerican universities.
Research Orientation: Infrastructure Systems, Highway and Bridge Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering (soil mechanics and foundations), Environmental Engineering, Engineering and Project Management, Theories of Architectural Design and History of Architecture.
4. Economics （2-3academic years）
This master program is targeted to train the master candidates in a variety of economic studies in economic development, industrial organization, international trade, investment, financial innovation, resources and environmental economics, and financial management. The teaching staff are composed of professors possessing an oversea backgrounds in Euramerican top universities such as Yale or Oxford and an rich experience in teaching and supervising international students. The Nobel Prize Winners, Professor Robert A. Mundell and Professor Clivew.J.Granger, were invited to give lectures at school.
Research Orientation: Industrial organization and competition, Regional economic development strategy and programming, International investment and Multinational business management, Financial innovation and financial engineering, Resources and environmental economic analysis.
5. Industrial Engineering（2-3 academic years）
Industrial Engineering (IE) is an integrated engineering subject with combination of engineering and management science. This program intends to cultivate the students to be the advanced engineering talents in modern industrial engineering and systematical management. The graduates will be ones adept in the programming, designing, evaluating section of industrial and commercial administrative system. The Teaching team is mainly composed of teachers who boast an experience of studying at top Euramerican universities. They are experienced at how to teach and instruct international students. Some courses will adopt original textbook from American universities.
Research Orientation: Ergonomics Technology and Application, Logistics Technology and System Simulation in Modern Production Environment, Production Operation and Enterprise Information Technology.
6. Mining Engineering（2-3 academic years）
This master program is intend to having good professional ethics, the spirit of solidarity, cooperation and the scientific quality of adhering to truth, servicing for social and economic modernization, master basic theory and systematic specialties in mining engineering, and basic Chinese language, developing scientific research or teaching work by himself and be sound in mind and body.

7. International Trade（2-3 academic years）
This project is undertaken by School of Economics of WUT. This project is undertaken by School of Economics of WUT. It aims at training students abilities of research and application in fields like Economic Development, Industrial Organization, International Trade, Investment, Environment and Resources and Financial Management.The team of teachers is composed of professors graduate from distinguished universities in Europe and USA (such as Yale University and Oxford University). They are all experienced in teaching and direction international students. Distinguished Nobel Prize winners –Professore Robert A. Mundell from Columbia University and Professor Clive W.F.Granger both came to the school of Economics to give lectures.
Research Orientation：Industrial organizations and enterprises competition, development strategy and planning of regional economies, international investigation and management of multinational companies, financial innovation and financial engineering, as well as environmental and resource economics.
