79 Vietnamese students awarded Chinese government scholarships in 2019！

The Chinese Embassy in Vietnam held the 2019 Chinese Government Scholarship Acceptance Notice in Hanoi on August 8, and more than 40 foreign students from Vietnam went to China received the notice.

Xiong Bo, Chinese ambassador toVietnam, said in a speech at the ceremony that Sino-Vietnamese education cooperation has a long history and has made many important achievements in recent years. It is hoped that scholarship winners will take study abroad as an opportunity to enhance their understanding of the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam and the development path of the two countries, personally experience the historical and cultural heritage of China and the achievements of economic development, make more acquaintances with Chinese friends, and make contributions to promoting the development of Vietnam and deepening the friendship between China and Vietnam.

Ruan Shiqiu River, In his speech, the Commissioner of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Education and Training of Viet Nam said that the scholarship reflected the interest and help of the Chinese side in the cause of Vietnamese education. Over the past two years, the two countries have attached great importance to cooperation in the field of education, and through the exchange of scholarships and students, the more and more friendship and mutual understanding have been promoted. In recent years, with the advanced level of education and the unique culture, diet and life style,Chinahas become a popular destination for Vietnamese students.

“It has wings for our dreams!” The scholarship winner, Chen Tianxiu, was unable to hide the excitement at the ceremony site. She said that she will cherish this valuable opportunity to study abroad, study and study in all areas of Chinese drama, and make contributions to cultural exchanges betweenChinaandVietnam.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education, 11,299 Vietnamese students studied inChinain 2018, and more than 2,000 students received various scholarships inChina, accounting for about 18 % of the total. A considerable number of Vietnamese students who have received scholarships from the Chinese government have chosen Chinese, ancient Chinese literature, Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, which will help deepen China-Vietnam relations and promote people-to-people exchanges.
