School of Engineering, NPU & Queen Mary University of London is Approved Successfully

According to “National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan Outline (2010-2020)” for introducing in overseas high-quality educational resource, a cooperative educational institution between NPU and Queen Mary University of London is approved successfully, which not only promotes NPU’s “double first-class constructions” in a new period but also essentially advances NPU’s internationalization.

As the first Sino-foreign cooperative educational institution in the northwest region of China, School of Engineering of NPU & QM adopts “4+0” training mode in English, which confers the bachelor’s degree of both universities with the graduation requirements of both sides. The majors opened for the students are materials science and engineering, and the polymer material and engineering. Based on the international teaching mode, the school will adopt the curriculum system and teachers from QM to cultivate the high-quality talents of innovation.

The school will supply the students with the effective training program, the satisfying education and teaching with comprehensive guidance of scientific research, which will positively improve communication and cooperation on higher education between two countries, striving for becoming the bridge of education and culture for two countries in the future.
