Prof. Carlos Javier Rubio from University of Zaragoza Visits CCNU

On March 22, a meeting with Prof. Carlos Javier Rubio was held in the conference room of CCNU International Office. Prof. Rubio was warmly welcomed by Ke Changqing, Director of CCNU International Office, Hu Jing, Dean of Wuhan Branch of China Tourism Academy, and some other deans and professors.

Ke Changqing gave a brief introduction of the deans and professors present and some history of CCNU. Also, he expressed his appreciation for Prof. Rubio’s visit. After that, Prof. Rubio introduced the history and the comprehensive quality of University of Zaragoza. He hoped that CCNU and University of Zaragoza would enhance mutual understanding.

Hu Jing warmly greeted Prof. Rubio and introduced the majors of CCNU Tourism Management. Additionally, she expressed her hope that CCNU and University of Zaragoza could develop an in-depth cooperation on teachers and students exchange . Gui Yuhui, Deputy Dean of CCNU School of Fine Arts, appreciated the strong art atmosphere in Spain and hoped that students in CCNU School of Fine Arts could have opportunities to communicate with local artists in Spain. Xu Zengyang, Deputy Dean of CCNU College of Public Administration, hoped that CCNU and University could exchange ideas on management and skills of the public administration. 

Prof. Rubio pointed out language may be a barrier for the interaction between two sides, but Spain would provide some Spanish courses to the exchange students to master some professional terminology of the major, which was put into practice in frequent cooperations between University of Zaragoza and other Chinese universities and witnessed great success.

At last, Ke Changqing and Prof. Rubio exchanged their presents and then they went to the Hall of School History to learn more about CCNU.
